Air-Dale Engineering Co. (Pty) Ltd, trading as Cool Breeze Air Conditioning was founded in 1964 by the late W.S. Wright, inventor of the well known Venturi Evaporative Cooling unit.

Up until 1992, the company undertook Evaporative Cooling contract work which included installations for O.K. Bazaars, Checkers, Dions, Furniture City, Woolworths, The Dept. of Public Works, various mining houses, and many other commercial and industrial applications. During 1992 a decision was made to stop all contract work and to become suppliers to the ever growing Evaporative Cooling Industry. Air-Dale Engineering became the sole importers of Cool Breeze evaporative air conditioners and accessories.  We have been importing and distributing the Cool Breeze brand since 1992 and we continue to offer back-up and spares for all Cool Breeze coolers sold in Southern Africa .

We are now able to offer replacement Evaporative Cooling Pads for most makes and sizes of evaporative coolers.  Our newly commissioned high tech production facility allows us to cut pads to any size and our turn around time on orders is quick and hassle free.  We are also able to offer pads in large sizes and quantities for Commercial and Wet Wall applications.

Over the years the Company has accumulated a wealth of experience in the fields of Evaporative Cooling and ventilation, and as forerunners in the industry we are committed to product and service excellence.
